We hope this message finds you safe and healthy during this difficult time.
As many of you have heard, Rolling Thru America’s sister event, Americade, has been rescheduled from its normal June dates until late July. The postponement of our largest event, as well as another small June event we host, has had a cascading effect on our three events later in the season, forcing us to postpone one of them to 2021.
After much thought, we thought the fairest way to choose which event was postponed was purely based upon how many people would be affected. Our other Rolling Thru tour and our August event are larger events, so, unfortunately, Rolling Thru Virginia 2020 is one that has been postponed. We’ve never had to do anything like this before, and we know it’s a huge disappointment. We’re disappointed too.
So what happens now? You have a couple of options as to what happens with your RTA registration. You can:
- Receive a credit to use for an RTA 2021 tour. Our (wonderful) 2021 tours will go on sale later this year, and if you prefer we can hang on to your funds now and apply them towards your next ride.
- Transfer your registration over to this fall’s Rolling Thru the Finger Lakes (9/21/20-9/24/20) – we have a few spots that have opened if you should like to move your tour. You can read more about this tour by clicking here. It’s an excellent tour.
- Request a refund of your registration. We understand that many are feeling a financial strain right now and we would be happy to refund you your registration fee if needed.
Please reply to this info@rollingthruamerica.com letting us know which option you prefer and we will get your request processed as soon as possible. We thank you in advance for your understanding, this was not an easy decision to make and we hope you are able to join us in the Finger Lakes!
